Natasha Bowers, Dance Teacher at Wasilla Music & Dance Center

Natasha has an undeniable love for the art of creative dance, movement and choreography. She has taught dance and figure skating throughout the Mat-Su Valley since 2005. Natasha has over 13 years of Classical Ballet, Jazz & Contemporary dance training. She studied under Alice Bassler in Anchorage and Steve Premis in Eagle River. Natasha is an internationally rated choreographer, currently holding a “Registered” rating conducted by the PSA. Natasha teaches dance to children ages 3 thru teens and conducts off-ice workshops for figure skaters incorporating ballet, jazz, biomechanics, conditioning and creative dance. She helps her students focus on the principles of movement, music dynamics and articulation and isometric energy stretching. Wasilla Music & Dance Center is excited to have Natasha teaching pre-school dance, ballet, ballet/modern and dance fusion classes.

Skyler Bowers , Dance Teacher at Wasilla Music & Dance Center

Skyler grew up in the Mat-Valley and has trained in numerous dance disciplines at; Mat-Valley Dance, Sonja’s School of Dance, Denali Gymnastics, and at Dancers Workshop. She has studied; Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Tap, and Broadway. She has also competed in state wide dance competitions. Additionally, she is an international figure skating champion, winning events in several ISI Worlds competitions. She is also a figure skating coach for the Curtis D Menard Memorial Sports Center. She teaches the Learn to Skate program to all ages and abilities of skaters. Skyler has trained in choreography and is passionate about sharing her love of dance and movement with all ages of dancers!

Rachael Reints , Dance Teacher at Wasilla Music & Dance Center

Rachael began training for her dance career in elementary school, where she found her passion in ballet and contemporary styles, as well as jazz, pointe work, and improvisation. After training in her school years, Rachael worked to pursue full time dance teaching and competitive coaching while attending UAA.

Rachael has performed and choreographed for countless productions and was most recently a featured soloist for Pulse Dance Company's eighth season finale performance as well as a solo dancer in Lankford's 'Melt' music video. She has been proud to premiere her creative works on many stages across the state, with her fondest memory being the debut of her choreography as the opener of YWCA's Women of Achievement awards, as well as their Dance Against Racism campaign.

Outside of instructing at Wasilla Music & Dance Center, Rachael currently pursues her passion of enriching young lives through education as a full time ASD employee at East High School. Rachael also co-owns and operates Identity Dance Collective, a creativity and performance based company for aspiring dancers.

Leticia Wade, Dance Teacher at Wasilla Music & Dance Center

Leticia grew up in Alaska studying dance and music. From an early start with Sunshine Generation and performing with Disney in her elementary years, to studying dance at UAA and performing and competing with UDC Hardcore into her adult years, she hasn't stopped dancing yet! Leticia also performed and choreographed pieces as a member of Momentum Dance Collective in Anchorage from 2014-16 and continues to dance with Enliven.

She has instructed and choreographed for various groups and shows in Alaska and Washington and most recently became the choreographer for the Miss Teen and Miss Alaska United States pageant. She loves all kinds of dance, focusing on Latin, Hip Hop, Jazz and Modern. Leticia's enthusiasm for dance is contagious, and we're confident Wasilla Music & Dance Center's students will quickly share her passion!
